A Dandypunk- DIY

You happen upon a bit of film, a step into someone else's world. Your mind turns, and that space inside of you feels charged with a bit of their magic. This is that. Watch, enjoy, and go create your own magic. Think outside the box. Welcome to the world of a dandypunk.

From a dandypunk's info page, "A dandypunk exists to inspire and motivate creativity, non-conformity, whimsy, intense curiosity, do-it-yourself mentality and everyday eccentricity in everybody. The new weird."

Vintage Circus

I love photos of almost anything vintage. I love the old circus photos because I can simultaneously remember wanting to go to the circus as a kid, and also wonder what it was like to live in a really small town, where the circus was maybe the most exotic thing that happened all year. The costumes were all handmade, so vivid and lovely. I wonder what it was like to be a renegade and run away and join the circus. How many options were there for women in the 40s and 50s? Housewife, secretary, oh, and circus performer!

People that make me happy.

This guy, Jeff Grainger makes impossibly cool Green and Green style everything. I want to meet him and hear his stories some day.

This guy makes my world go 'round.

This stylish group captured at the Four Seasons in Pasadena, they're the good guys.

My much cooler and older cousins.
